HOW CROWNBOARD RANKING WORKS
CROWNBOARD is a paid sponsorship marketplace. Position reflects sponsorship spend — nothing else.
01
Cumulative spend determines position
Each board ranks advertisers by the total verified amount they have spent on that board. The highest cumulative spend holds the crown position.
02
You pay only the difference
To move to a higher position you pay the difference between your current cumulative spend and the spend required for that position, plus the minimum increment. You are never charged the full target amount again.
03
Positions can change at any time
Another advertiser can pass you by increasing their spend. When that happens your position changes immediately and we notify you.
04
Only verified payments count
Rankings update only after a payment is verified on our servers with the payment provider. Pending, failed, cancelled or refunded payments never change a position.
05
Ties are resolved deterministically
If two advertisers hold identical cumulative spend, the advertiser who reached that amount first ranks higher. Positions are never assigned randomly.
06
Every figure shown is real
Spend, views, clicks, bids, rank history and market activity are read from actual records. We never fabricate activity, competitors or metrics.
What a placement is not
- It is not an editorial endorsement, award, or independent ranking.
- It is not a claim that an advertiser is the best, #1, or a market leader.
- It does not guarantee traffic, leads, conversions, sales or revenue.
- We report placement, views and clicks only — metrics we can actually measure. We do not report conversions.
